the reason why is just that the few number of curators with the power to approve shows just get busy sometimes and don't get to approving shows right away.

sometimes, like if I'm on the computer all day, i'll check the engine often to see if there are shows waiting to be approved. those shows go just an hour or two waiting.. but sometimes I'm away from a computer for a few days and can't do anything like that at all. so the shows wait for someone else to approve them. Unfortunately when you have just a few people approving shows, and they all have a few 'limited computer time' days in a row, a backlog occurs and shows can end up waiting 48-72 hours for approval ... your 24 hours is pretty standard.

If there is an error with the file names, band policy, etc.. you'll most likely hear from us in the same time frame, but the message will change to "Frozen by curator. uploader was / will be contacted" and we'll e-mail you about what is wrong and how to fix it.

thanks for uploading to the archive! .. keep it up!

thanks Tyler.

I've offered before and I'll offer again.
I usually have a few hours available throughout the day and more at night to help in this regards.
If I can be of any help, please don't hesitate to ask!
